Mood Disorders Post-Specialist Education Program (DUSEP)

As the Bipolar Disorders Association, we would like to share the program content and application conditions regarding the “Mood Disorders Post-Specialist Training Program (DUSEP)” that we have been working on for a while.
Purpose, content, calendar: A 5-module training program that will provide up-to-date theoretical and clinical practical support to psychiatrists who will work in the field of mood disorders in every region of our country, to develop the competencies of psychiatrists in the diagnosis, treatment and long-term follow-up of bipolar disorder and other mood disorders. was created.
The first 4 modules are theoretical, each of which will take about 12 hours with a weekend training, and the first module will be held on 29-30 May 2021. Modules 2, 3 and 4 will be held in the fall of 2021, and module 5 is planned to be held in the first 6 months of 2022 as a supervision module, with a total of 64 hours and 8 weekends. Participants will undergo a total of 112 hours of training at the end of these five modules. Physicians who pass these steps will be given a certificate of participation and their names and institutions will be listed on the Bipolar Disorders Association website.
It is planned to start the trainings online from the online digital platform and it will be evaluated that the last modules are in face-to-face/online hybrid form according to the course of the pandemic.
The education in the program will be provided with the support of our valuable teachers who have worked in TPD Mood Disorders CBD and Bipolar Disorder Association.
